Da piazza Monviso, all'inizio di Novello, si percorre la centrale via Giordano. Al km 0.2 si scende a sinistra in via Pallone, poi nuovamente a sinistra in via S. Pietro sino al km 0.4 dove si svolta a destra su discesa ripida panoramica tra le vigne: a sinistra Monforte d'Alba, a destra il Castello di Novello. Al km1 si prosegue a destra su sterrata in falsopiano. Al km 1.5 si tiene la destra fino al km 1.6 dove si continua a destra in via Roma verso il centro del paese. Al km 1.96 si svolta destra in via Fracchia, al km 2 su sterrato, al km 2.07 si segue la sinistra passando sotto l'arco medioevale, poi si sale a destra (a sinistra area sosta panoramica) tra le antiche mura sino alla panoramica piazza Tarditi, al km 2.23. Si prosegue oltrepassando l'adiacente Municipio, verso destra sulla panoramica via Regina Margherita; giunti al km 2.53 nei pressi della torre medioevale, si svolta a destra in via Giordano per giungere al km 2.75 in piazza Monviso.
Pathway under the Castle
Yellow path - 2.75 km - 50 minutes
From Piazza Monviso, at the beginning of Novello, walk along Via Giordano. At km 0.2 go down on the left in via Pallone, then newly on the left in via S. Peter until km 0.4 where on turn right on panoramic steep reduction between the vines. On the left there is Monforte d'Alba and on the right there is the Castle of Novello. Al km 1 continue right on a flat dirt road. Al km 1.5 holds the right until km 1.6 where on continue to right in Via Roma towards the center of the town. At km 1.96 turn right in via Fracchia, to km 2 go on a dirt road. At km 2.07 follows the left passing under the Medieval Arch, then go up to right (on the left there i san area panoramic for a break) between old walls until the panoramic Piazza Tarditi at km 2.23. Continue right, going beyond the town hall, on the panoramic Via Regina Margherita. At km 2.53 near the Medieval Tower, turn right in Via Giordano in order to reaching at km 2.75 Piazza Monviso.
